Community Guidelines
Effective October 20, 2026
GYSS is a place to train, share progress, and push each other to get a little better every day. These guidelines apply to everything you share: posts, stories, comments, messages, profile photos, usernames, and bios. They're part of our Terms of Service.
Lift each other up
- Give feedback on form and programming, not on people's bodies.
- Everyone starts somewhere. Beginners are welcome here.
- Disagree respectfully. No insults, pile-ons, or targeting someone.
Not allowed
- Harassment and bullying. Threats, insults, body shaming, unwanted sexual comments, or encouraging others to target someone.
- Hate. Attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or serious illness.
- Nudity and sexual content. Gym and physique photos are fine. Nudity, sexual acts, and sexually suggestive content are not. Anything sexualizing a minor is removed and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
- Violence. Threats, graphic violence, or praise for violent acts.
- Dangerous health content. Selling or sourcing steroids, SARMs, or other illegal drugs, and promoting eating disorders or extreme starvation diets.
- Self-harm. Content that encourages self-harm or suicide. If you're struggling, call or text 988 in the US, or your local emergency number.
- Spam and scams. Fake engagement, repeated unwanted messages, misleading links, giveaways that ask for payment, or selling without our permission.
- Impersonation. Pretending to be another person, brand, or GYSS staff.
- Private information. Sharing someone's address, phone number, or other personal details without their consent.
- Illegal activity and content you don't have the rights to share.
You must be 13 or older
GYSS is for people 13 and older. We remove accounts we believe belong to someone younger.
Report and block
Tap ••• on any post, story, comment, message, or profile and choose Report or Block. Reports are private: the person you report isn't told who reported them. Blocking hides you from each other and stops them from following, commenting on, or messaging you.
How we enforce these guidelines
A real person on our team reviews reports. We also use automated tools to catch some content that clearly breaks these rules, such as nudity or graphic violence, before anyone reports it. Content that several people report may be hidden while we review it.
Depending on how serious the violation is, we may:
- Remove the content and let you know why.
- Temporarily stop your account from posting, commenting, and messaging.
- Permanently ban the account for severe or repeated violations.
New accounts have lower limits on posting and can't share links for their first day. This helps us stop spam.
