Milo of Croton resting his hand on the grown bull in an olive grove

Meet your coach

The man who carried the bull

Twenty-five centuries ago in Croton, a young wrestler named Milo lifted a newborn calf onto his shoulders. Then he did it again the next day, and the day after that.

  1. The calf A weight he could carry. Nothing heroic, just a daily habit he never skipped.
  2. The bull The calf grew a little every day, and so did Milo. Years later he was carrying a full-grown bull and had become the most celebrated wrestler in Greece.
  3. Your turn Small, steady increases add up. We call it progressive overload. Milo just called it showing up. Now he's here to help you do the same.

Tell MILO your goal and he'll build the plan, set your targets, estimate meals from a photo, and add a little weight when you're ready. The bull made Milo. Let MILO help make you.
